can i have the album photo be the icon?
i didn't scan these or anything, wmp just automatically downloaded them... and when you go into thumbnail view, it show what albums are in the folder.
i want each song to have the picture of the album it's from

Hmmm......... I don't think so unless you took those pictures and made them into icons (.ico) and changed the songs individually.
yes you can. I have done it. Just put the image you want inside the respective folder. Then right-click the folder and there's a tab where you can change the tabbed-icon appearance. There you can choose what image you'd like to display on top of the folder..
I think he meant for the individual songs themselves though. Maybe I misread.

after re-reading his post, I think he's asking something else, but I dont quite get it..

ie both sides of the story by phil collins would have the cd's cover on it
If you rip a CD using Windows Media Player, it adds the picture of the CD, or you can customize the folder as some one already told.
i use that view on all my albums.
find the pic you wanna use and rename it to folder.jpg and place it in the folder. then view it as thumbnail
