[help] installing new ff themes under v1.0.4

wtf? apparently. since upgrading to 1.0.4, i can't install any new themes. dragging the jar file to the themes window just does nothing, and opening the jar with ff, well, that's just wrong. can someone clue me in, please?

Hmm ... I double checked just to be sure and drag and drop seems to work for me at least.

Perhaps you need to reboot after the upgrade to FF 1.0.4 ? I'm not quite sure

Do you not need to enable 'Web sites can install software' on one of the Preferences panels. I noticed this in Windows, I think they disabled it for security by default. If you allow websites to install software, you can then drag the jar file onto the Themes window and properly install extensions and stuff.

If this don't work on Mac OS, balls. It should though, they're basically the same codebase.

thx guys. well, i still havn't found the 'real' way to do this, but i did find this extension, which adds a 'install new theme' button to the themes window. you can then browse to any downloaded theme jar file. works like a champ, if anyone besides me ever needs anything like this.
