Hey, i am going to download the trial version of Photoshop CS2, cause at the moment i only have version 7.0.
I was wondering if, can you open Photoshop CS2 files in version 7.0 and vise versa, because at College they have version 7.0 and i don't want to be doing work at home on CS2 and finding out the files won't open in version 7.0.

I dont think CS2 files opens well in 7, allthough i have not tried.
7 files in CS2 should'nt be a problem though.
Yeh i thought that. CS2 seems to have a lot of new features in comparison to 7.
When saving from CS2 (if you want to open in 7) make sure "maximum compatibility" is ON when you save a psd, all other formats should open just fine in 7, i.e. pngs/jpegs/pics/etcs. All 7 psds will open in CS2 as well.
I agree with mubach, PS have "Maximum Compatibility" while saving .PSD files..... which should solve your problem.
