UIS to msstyles

is it possible to change a UIS or a UIS2 skin to a .msstyles skin?

I'm assuming windows ME uses msstyles right?

No... Me does not. Only XP and Win2k3 uses msstyles.

If you want to run msstyles on Windows ME you would want to use WindowBlinds and download SkinStudio which can convert msstyles to UIS.

So for windows ME, i just use a UIS?

Windows ME doesn't have native skinning, you need to use a 3rd party program like Windowblinds to skin it, & yes windowblinds uses uis1 or uis2 skins.

Windows ME is the most crappy OS in existance. DONT USE IT. Even windows 95 is dozens of times better

and waaaaay more stable.

I couldn't agree more, ME is to Microsoft as Suddam is to Iraq... nasty stuff. If you have an old computer, think about 98 and if possible 2K if it won't run XP. I've finally ditched all MS products and now using linux...

#289029

what exactly is suddam to iraq?

i've never used windowsme, but i imagine it can't be worse than 98 since it's only a minor update.

Saddam Hussein

HRm..well 98 isn't a possibility...

Anyone know of a way to use windowblinds without that annoying as mess popup (without paying money)

If you like it, buy it. It's that simple.

We do not discuss the other method to which you are refering to on this board.
