My Dream Is Coming True . . .

So, I am finally getting paid for my new job, and with my first check I will be able to get the Powerbook that I have longed for for so many years. A few questions though :

1.) I have been out of the loop for a while now, so how long should I wait to buy? - I don't want to buy one and then the week after have an upgraded Powerbook be released.

2.) Do games run well on the Powerbooks, specifically the 15" Superdrive version? The main game I am curious about is World of Warcraft.

Any other advice would be appreciated as well.

The upgraded Powerbook line was released not so long ago. I don't think you have anything to fear about that.

WoW should get ~20-low 30 fps on a PB.

Playable for sure. Lag, not framerate, is your enemy on WoW, and that's not an issue anyways.

They're not gonna have a G5 PB for a while; so I think your purchase is good now.
