I'm looking for shortcut links to the following :

Windows Explorer Search and Remove Hardware Safely

In this format (ie. Control Panel: {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}::{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}or if someone can point me to the actual ap and were it resides I can make a shortcut.

I'm looking to place a Sherlok search icon on my dock that will open the explorer into a search field and also make an Ave icon for Remove Hardware Safely on my desktop.

Here is the command to open "Safely Remove Hardware" dialog

RUNDLL32 SHELL32.DLL,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll

Paste that into the run dialog box and you will see what I mean.

You can also create a shortcut by using the command above as the Target.

Just paste it in the Target box as it is and set it to start in %windir%.

Awesome! Figured out the Search link feature, just when I thought I exhausted every possible thread looking for asolution I found one. A shortcut to the search feature can be made just by right clicking and dragging the search icon off the start menu.
