[help] deleting a desklet from the desktop?

Hello all,

I've been wondering if anyone knows how to delete a pidlshortcut or other desklet using the "delete"-key on your keyboard. I tend to download things to my desktop, but having to rightclick/selecting delete seems unnatural for a person like me that uses the keyboard to do a majority of things Pressing the delete-key will give me a "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel"-error.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

(I guessed this didnt belong in the request forum, but if it is: my apologies)

PS: this regards AveDesk obviously, not any other of the aveapps... Just in case

Since you can't navigate from one desklet to another with the arrow keys...

However the DEL key should work in avedesks control panel, if not: Bug.

What I meant was that I click a shortcut on my desktop, and then push the delete button. Obviously, this doesnt work, because the "avedesklet" extension in my folder preferences (control panel/folder options/file type tabs) only has an "open" action assigned to it. However, I'm guessing you could assign a "delete" action to it, but I dont have the faintest clue how to do that... (hope this isnt complete gibberish)

Anyhow, I'm just trying to point out that it really would help if you just said "I dont have a clue, but you might try this or that". Did I make a mistake by bumping my thread? Yes sure, I admit it. Am I getting any closer with what I need? No. If you need to suspend me for three days or delete this thread, go ahead (wouldnt surprise me either). I dont want to start a flame war. I just want a solution for a problem that (in my opinion at least) could enhance AveDesk. And I'm guessing the solution is somewhere in the folder options/assigning an action to "delete", possibly with a command line from avedesk.
