Icon Help

Hi,

this may stupid but the text underneath the icons on my desktop has a colourd box around it and i want to get rid of it. how do i do this?

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced tab -> Preformance -> Setting -> Check the "Use shadows on labels on Desktop" (second from bottom).

Also, in the future, please use the search. I did a search with "Desktop Icon Text" and came up with many results.
