Integrating Album Art from iTunes to switch DIsplay Picture in MSN Messenger

Hi, I was curious about the possibility of integrating the Album Art from .MP3s in iTunes, Winamp, etc. to switch your display picture in MSN Messenger. It may be a far out idea. but I thought since MSN can integrate the title of the music you are playing in 7.0, it shouldn't be that much of a stretch to be able to also integrate the Album Art as the Display Picture.

If anyone has any idea if such a tweak exists, or is in the process of attempting this, I would love to know how you are making out. :cool:

um such a mod does not exist but its an interesting idea and may be used in the future....but tweak wise msn isnt that great....go for something like miranda instead....thats a lot more flexible

I wrote a plugin for MSNPlus that did this once.

File attached. Just load it in MSNPlus as a plugin.

Does the plugin work with the latest MSN plus for Live version?

Particularly for Messenger Plus! Live, I used iTunes+. From it's website:

* Control iTunes via commands and menu items, pause, skip tracks etc

* Can change your DP to the current album art

* Can easily show your contacts what you're listening to, and send it to them (or even copy it to the sharing folder), simply by typing a command or choosing a menu option

* It has a built in track editor so you can change incorrect details without even opening iTunes
