I was told to post a link here for my web site, which is the home of Iphoto 5 for Windows and most important the i apps for Windows. BUT THERE IS NO AQUA CONTROLS USED IN THESE PRODUCTS, THERE IS NO AQUA CONTROLS USED IN THESE PRODUCTS. The link is http://www.newmacsite.cjb.net or if you can't use URL redirection, you can link to the site at, http://www.homepage.mac.com/realmacsite/ ... Thanks and THERE IS NO AQUA CONTROLS ON THE SITE EITHER!!!!!
iPhoto for win, without Aqua Controls
so... the: Copyright ©2002-2005 Apple Computer, Inc. All rights reserved. Doesn't mean anything for you?
its open source and great icon, I like the thing, but its wrong about my ip. Check the site for photos now.
Looks very neat...interesting.
Wow, as soon as I heard the concept of the way you are making it I thought that it wouldn't work, but you prooved me wrong! I can't wait untill teh final release!
so is it released or not?
Check the site, not yet but I decided to make a teaser video and post 2 screenshots for my amusement and because people kept asking for them.
Oh, yeah... it's open source... sorry
Wow. Looks really nice so far. Musta taken forever to make. Anyways, thanks for sharing.
That's for iPhoto 2, but you should still take it down.
As for iPhoto5, the screens look great - especially the fonts for the album names... sorry I doubted you. ![]()
Well the link is there, but seems that he has no idea what the hell he is doing so he is linking a local area newtork address on port 70 - good luck downloading.
@iPhoto5forWindows: I dont know if you think this is a joke but, please, post a thread when you have something to post in it; not "i havent released but i will, wait for it"

I never said it was for "iPhoto 5 for Windows". Just pointing out that he indeed does have the Aqua Controls on the site even though he clains he doesn't.
@seph, i think he just wanted to advertise his site. that is ok in this area right? web/ comunity sites?
his site is gonna have lots of info on what hes working on. u wouldn't tell alilm (if he still came here
) not to post links to his website untill hes ready to release his stuff.
i think people need to take it easy on this guy, hes trying to make osx aplications for windows, ISN'T THAT THE POINT HERE, isn't that our goal. i understand about the aqua controlls, they wern't there last night when i visted his site, they were infact taken down. no one was mad when ical was made, the the ituens skin for wmp a while ago.
anyway, i dont think it was cool what happend to him in the last thread he stared, WAY too much flaming. and i hope we can give him another chance here.
You do have a point, Grim.
I apologize, bad usage of words. As long as no aqua controls are there, everything is fine.
damit, no respect button, when did that get taken off ![]()
thx, grim. i been been readin all this stuff just fuming at how badly this kid is being treated. i did speak up in the shout box a coupla days ago, to no avail. you made your point well.
and props to seph for'coming around'. and, of course, aaron, for doing the project to begin with. i'd also like to thank the academy. it's an honor just to be nominated...
I removed the link the Aqua Controls in the downloads, section but I wasn't aware the link on the iPhoto 2 page is even working. The whole page is in html coding and I don't want to go back and change links again, so the links on that page shouldn't work because they are for a server that no longer exists.
LOL - no, your links are pointing to a local area network address so its pointing at everyone's computer ![]()
ha ha ha , I just hope that teasing stops soon and no aqua controls are involved anymore , otherwise good job ![]()
in the ad..why;d you use some cutouts of the icons and not the icons themselves?
also why'd you do this anyways because apple will just c&d you for porting their iLife suite to windows which is copyrighted
like they did that to aqua-apps :slant:
What's with the "video" of iPhoto 5? It's not exactly a video of the software, is it? It's just a bunch of fatally boring and cheap fade in effects of grammar-less jargon plugging "a revolution" in mac emulation... then you give credits...
Who can say he didn't just take a screenshot of iPhoto on the Mac and paste it over a Windows desktop?
OMG , i didn't see the vid , you could have asked for the icons at least , you're vid looks very cheap man IMO , sorry just my two cents
