Aqua-Soft ForumsI wanna make a cd of mp3s so i can listen to music while at my parents house (for the next month or so)...i want it to be a data cd so i can fill it up with a buncha albums...can anyone help me on what settings to use on Nero for this? If i can't do it on Nero, how would I do it? Thanx in advance.
Pc Cd's On Macs
Nero works fine. Just use the wizard and select "Compile a New CD" and in the next screen, select "Data CD" and next choice would be "Compile a new data-CD". Finish that and just drag the mp3 materials to the left-hand window. Burn the CD and you're done. The completed CD will work fine on both Windows and Apple machines.

Get HFVExplorer and make a new image of HFS and copy Mp3s to the image(s) and nero will burn the Image to the CD
Just a small note that many older macs using pre OS X software may not be able to use discs that are formatted with Joliet unl;ess you have that extra extension installed for Joliet access.
With these macs you have to be sure your CD uses ISO standard format with 8.3 filenames. I've seen many OS 8/8.5 macs reject pc cd's with Joliet.
Hmm.. I just drag the mp3 files into the E: Drive folder (cd-burner folder) and just burn it.
It reads perfectly.
