[ help ] - Toolbar REFUSES to be replaced. (xp)

I am reposting this problem, as i did not get a responce from it last time

I have tried with Windowblinds, every version.... Style XP... and neither let me replace the icons on the explorer toolbar. They used to work, but now dont! I recently installed Flyakite 2, which replaced the icons, although they arent the icons i wish to change them to. Is there anyway i can use windowblinds toolbars WITHOUT editing Shell32?

A little development of the problem:

I set a toolbar in windowblinds... re-open an explorer window and it still has the Flyakite icons.

When i right click > Customize and change it to small icons.. it then changes to the windowblinds icons, i can then chane it to large again and it is still windowblinds icons... then when i close the window and open it again... back to Flyakite icons again :@

I know you've already probably thought of this but you should reload windows... Sounds like your system has been modded to death...

Its not really an option, is there no way to get windowblinds to have control over shell32 again?

Are you talking about the toolbar with forward|backward|refresh|stop|home. If so you should use Y's Toolbar or Styler's Toolbar, not WindowBlinds or Style Xp.

Yeah, I allways have the same situation.The solution is however simple - restart Windows.

It does not help to kill explorer.exe (well, sometimes).

It's the beauty of WindowBlinds ;-)
