[help] Windows won't instal fonts!

I downloaded OBfont.zip with the files obfont.pfm and obfont.pfb

The readme file says that I have to put the files in te windows> fonts folder and the font will instal his self.. But it doesn't.. And it seems that only .ttf files work, and all other font files won't..

Is there a program or a other solution to instal the fonts, or is OBfont.ttf availeble to download somewhere?

hmm you could try fontbook by ave, just look around in his section of the forum.

Are you sure you are not getting a "this font is already installed" message? As long as the ttf is installed, you have the font installed. To my knowledge, the other two files are for a different type of publishing (higher end printers and such), which is called PostScript. You don't need those files to be installed.

.pfm and .pfb fonts are for Adobe Type Manager (ATM).

Windows will not recognize these as fonts unless ATM is installed.

FYI.. these fonts are also print device specifc.
