I have decided that I will be buying one of the new iMacs this summer in order to save space and simplify my dorm room for next year.
However, one of my biggest objects in my room is my 20" tv and playstation hookup.
To my knowledge, there is no way to connect a PS2 directly to an iMac. I would like to still enjoy my free cable, so I will be buyign a USB 2.0 external tv card for the iMac.
My question is, what are my options for retaining my precious college timekiller and procrastination device, known as playstation2? I would like to have as high quality of a connection as possible, so hooking it into a TV card would most likely be a last resort thing.
Additionally, I am big on high quality so everything is hooked up VIA component to my TV (DVD and PS2). What is the quality comparison of a DVD movie played on an iMac, as compared to a component DVD player connected to a flat screen (not flat panel, I ain't rich) TV?
Thank you in advance.
