logging in (password) problem

This always happens.

I never get my password wrong. If I am not loggen in, when I do, when I type my password, it ALWAYS says it is wrong. I type it very carefully, and it always says wrong. Secons time, it is always fine...

I don't know if this is a problem or a setting that has been put on.

Has anybody else had this problem?

May I ask what browser you are using, I thought I fixed the password problem, and nothing has been changed on the site since so...

I am using Firefox 1.0 on a 2.4GHz machine, XP pro.

Also, Because of cookies, I wasn't logged in before and it had my user and pass filled in.

This time when I log in it does it properly.

I am also getting a simmilar problem, it says:

The password you have entered does not match your current one. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!

I get it to email me a new password, then try and change it and get that error message even though I put the right password in.

Could you please help me with this Timan

Thank you very much.

Yeah, I've been getting the exact same problem as that too :(

indeed, i'm experiencing this too. ive tried to reset my pass for about three times to see if it fix the thing, but tough luck, it didn't. can someone help these poor zealots? (that includes me) :(

#284867

yeah, i just replied to another thread on this exact same thing, but I'll do it again, just because I think the latest reply should be updated on this problem as long as it still exists. So moderaors, if that's troublesome to you, just tell me not to do it again and I won't. But as of 6/13/05, I can't change my password, and sometimes can't log in with it. I'm using IE 6

Wow...and I thought this problem only happened to me!

I before I *attempted* to change my pass and email, I could only log in using the login in box at the top of the window but not when I click the log in button.

I changed my pass, the stupid number didn't work!

:Grumble:

Same problem for me,

I signed up, validated the email, and it logged in fine, and i clicked remember me, as I am the only person that uses the computer,

Then next time I opened aquasoft, it said wrong password, so i got it to send me a new one via email, that worked then,

then next time i opened aquasoft, said the same thing, had to reset password. and when i reset the password I cannot login through the main login page, it has to be through the box in the top right of the page, quite anoying

Using FireFox 1.0.4

Possible fix for this problem, and every other problem with passwords and stuff.

Disable Javascript in your browser, re-load the page, login, then enable it again. Saw this post on vBulletins forums.

I am still having a problem with this. I just had to create a new account so I could login. Please fix this! I like this forum a lot :(, but I like firefox more...

#303902

Firefox still doesn't let me login on this forum. Can you guys please do something about it?

What I did to login just now was login using IE, opening that cookie, copying the contents and pasting it into the firefox cookie. I then tried to login in firefox and it worked.

Thanks! --Casey

Yep, I'm having the same problem, even when disabling Javascript.

Not only will it not work the first few times, but you know how you get 5 attempts? It always stays at 0!! It shouldn't even be at 0 in the first place. :S Odd, eh?
