[help] AveTunes - How to make text scroll

I am making an avetunes skin and i have a problem. What i mean is how can i make the text move so that the whole of an album title is shown. Say for instance i have a album title that is quite long and some of it cannot be shown-can i add a line or something to the config file to make the text scroll to reveal the rest of the title? This works for the track title and artist name but i don't know how to get it to work for the album title...can i get any help?...heres a screeny....when im finished ill distribute the skin here...

only the #1 info can scroll.

oh well ive finished the skin but i need permission as it's a completely rejigged version of bezeltunes....(it's a lot better and has twice the functionality it is also a lot more animated...but i have to get permission first

I'm sorry to dig up this old thread, but how do you make song/artist names to scroll? I'm working on my first avetunes skin (Garageband for Menuet) to release, but this is the last thing I need (+ permission)

By the way, who do I contact to get permisson to release it?

You can't... only if you use "artist - songtitle" function (that it lists them together) it will scoll.

Separate info (arist, title, etc) cannot scroll

wow this is the first time one of my threads have been dug up again...id love to help you but i havent used avetunes in suck a long time....as soon as i found multiplugin and found out to skin it ive been happy with that and the albumart avescripter desklet

Man i hope you release this, it would make me go back to Avetunes. You need to ask Rimshot for permission.

You could do it with avescripter. Sadly, I'm a tad bit too busy with the upcoming baby. But I'll try to have something skinable in a couple of months. :slant:
