the problem is illustrated in the pic in his post. so i guess you don't have the problem. so you don't need to reply.
Yes, but the pic only shows a chopped graphic.. Not sure what desklet he's using to do that or settings.

The label is cut-off sometimes, because of a threading-issue. Think I got it fixed, but since I don't have the problem show up before neither, I need others to test it

System: P4 2.4 Hz, 1024 RAM, ATI 9600
Label Background: PowderGlass
Label Font (if that's relevant) Arial
The label cut off occur only once in a while so is quite hard for me to reproduce it every time.
I didn't experience it with any other label background.

I've had that problem several times earlier - no idea what causes it and haven't been able to reproduce it consistently. It just crops up occasionally especially when the machine has been running over 24-36 hours or so. I've had it with several different types of labels, so I guess it isn't label-specific.
It didn't really bother me all that much because all I had to do was go into the desklet properties, uncheck one of the boxes > click Apply > check the box again > click Aply again 
Anyway, if you need someone to test the bugfix, I'm your man !! I meet both the criteria that you specify at the end of your post

My AveDesk seems to read here on aqua-soft, too. Today it happened:
This happens on a Athlon 3200+ running WinXP SP2 with a Matrox P650 (Dual Screen Setup).
A manual restart of AveDesk fixes the problem.

haha yeah tell me bout it.i got that problem too. i already wondered if its a graphics problem of the labels.
I get that prob a lot... it seems to happen when the information on my sublabels change. I've set my sublables to show folder content size and directory number info, and as i copy files into them often, they change often... And the problem happens often too, although not all the time...
Threading problem... (Wonders what that means...)
it's like what happens to folder number two in CLICKS's screenie... ends go missing, usually the end near the icon itself... manual restart (of avedesk) solves the prob...
other then that, (and the rare avedesk "needs to be shut down" or something error when i eject and reinsert a CD in quick succession - maybe something wrong with automounter... dunno... its off topic anyway...) avedesk's working fine fer me...
to fix it i just load the config window, and uncheck and apply, and then recheck and apply, the only on mouseover option. fixes it everytime.
