The Official E3 2005 Thread

I know that most of us here are "technological advanced," and most of those are gamers. So the largest gaming show in the world is about to take place.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2005!

It officially starts tomorrow (Tuesday, May 17, 2005), however, somethings may come out today.

My savior for this years' E3 is the unveiling of the new Legend of Zelda game. A teaser was shown at last years E3, but Nintendo promised a playable demo at this years' E3.

Also, an update (or unveiling?) of Sony's and Nintendo's next-gen consoles may be present.

G4 will be having an E3 show all this week (which starts around 7 ET). For those of you who remembered, G4's parent company bought out TechTV, and it hasn't been the same since (well, for TechTV viewers). So I may actually be watching G4 for reasons other than X-Play.

Are you excited?

Don't leave me hanging--

Well, Nintendo previewed their NextGen console code-named "Revolution." To me, it kind of looks like something released in the 1980's minus the fake wood panels, and instead having a glossy shell. Good thing its only a prototype.

And a shocker, yet another version of a GameBoy called GameBoy Micro. The release date is somewhere beyond Fall 2005. That's just what we need, a handheld to get smaller and smaller, and the screen size to tag along. Is Nintendo trying to purposely go bankrupt? How many versions of the GBA do we need?

We have an official name for the new Zelda game, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. More new screens, not much info, however, Link and Zelda can now commit bestiality (Link can transform into a wolf).
