[request] Netscape 8.0 Safari Skin
Man use Firefox for God's sake
netscape is built on what firefox is based on (mozilla) so just go for firefox it's got a lot more functionality than nestscape
I'm testing out this new Netscape...and yes, a Safari skin would be good.

U re right, plus Netscape 8.0 is really RSS compatible, it s build on firefox 0.93, cant wait for the final release, i m using netscape since 1993 so why MUST i change?

8.0 was based on FF 1.0.3 and 8.0.1 is based on 1.0.4. where did you get that 0.93 info?
and WHY on earth is this in 3rd party applications instead of Application Skin requests?

The press releases for Netscape before it was released stated it was based on 0.9.3, obviosuly that changed by the time it was released.
And since it is based on Firefox wouldn't the Safarifox mod work?
no it won't work because the browser is only 'based' on firefox...IT ISN'T FIREFOX THOUGH!!!....someone please stop this thread it isn't getting anywhere...your best bet is just to download Firefox and take yourself to this thread:

I think it's a legitimate request, doudou4ever was requesting a Safari skin for Netscape and being told/ordered to use Firefox isn't an answer.
It's his choice what browser he uses.
With the amount of "why don't you use..." why don't you make your own.." "why should anyone make this for you..." type responses I sometimes wonder why these request boards are here at all.
