need info on a game

does anyone remember the 3d game that was some 87kb in size? it had some feature that the whole environment was dynamically loaded into ram, and hence had huge requirements. it had a wierd name. the graphics were amazing, but it took a toll on the moderately fast of systems as well...

any info and/or website would be nice!

PS: my IP is blocked on the gamespy forums for some reason, so i thought someone might be able to help here

contra if you read this i think someone had mentioned this on gooeylinux a looong while ago

;)

and if your wondering how it works.. well afaik it generates premade objects like textures, 3d models and sounds on the fly.. through some cool coding :D

Yep, look for kkreiger on that page. Hasn't been updated in a while though.

It's procedural generation - basically using complex mathematical equations picked in a predefined order to create the desired effect - kinda like vector on super-steroids. That's why it takes so long to load beforehand.
