Aqua-Soft ForumsHey, I was just wondering if there was any software capable of emulating Mac OS 9.1 on the PC. I was gonna go for PearPC, since it can run Mac OS X, but I can't get a working .iso of my OS 9.1 disk. Any help would be appreciated.

Sadly, I can't find one on there that emulates 9.1 or up, besides PearPC. Maybe I could get it running on PearPC if someone showed me a guide on how to make an .iso out of my 9.1 CD..
You can use Alcohol 120% to make an ISO.
Basillisk II runs OS 0.x - 7.5
SheepShaver runs OS 7.5.2 - 9.0.4
PearPC runs OS 10.X (as far as i know, it still can't boot OS 9)

Basilisk should be able to run up to versions of MacOS 0.8. The documents at Emaculation -- the Beginner's Guide in particular -- say that.
PearPC doesn't support OS 9 because ...well, there was some reason. It involves intentionally targeting the OSX platform, and something about an OpenBIOS or something. There's a Wiki article about all of this at http://www.pearpc.net.
Just use nero to make an iso from the install disk
I think the easiest way is to use WinISO. http://www.winiso.com/
make sure the cd is bootable too i had that problem

You should use PearPC, with the PearPC Panel (Configuration),
It's very simple, no configuration, the program do it by itself.
Well, It's Run "quiet good" on PiV @ 3.2GhZ+512ram, but its not very good with OS-X v10 "Tiger" (Needs 2 CDs mini for Instalation).
