Why are so many post that shoulnt get thanked thanked?

Why are there so many posts that are thanked that obviously shoulnt get thanked. Like posts that are asking questions that contain nothing to be thankfull besides contribution to the board I suppose.

Thank you for asking that question that bothers me for weeks, even months.

But there is one thing that bothers me more: the fact that I noticed some members pushing the thanks button on almost every topic.

I mean, come on, how is this posible - to find EVERY thread useful enough to say thank you? It's like walking down the street and saying "hi" to every person you meet. :confused:
