Two Firefox Questions

firefox_bar.jpg

Anyone know how to make the address and search bars round, something similar to the design on the website?

firefox_buttons.jpg

And any idea how to get rid of all that extra space between 'back' and 'forward' buttons?

You'll have to change images in the theme file, but first tell me, what theme are you using?

also, right click the toolbar and click "customize" and removes any "spaces" there may be between the buttons.

It's "Pinstripe for Windows 894 KB A Edited Version by cbw.l4v4 of Magbi9 & Ash's", following the instructions from Firefoxpc -> Firefoxmac. That is what I thought about the spaces but there are no spaces in there..

extract the jar file then you will know what to mod exactly. location bar is easy. leftcap and rightcap but you have to add a line to your userchrome or else the web icon will be too close to the left. search bar is the same. you can get the images from other themes and just replace them.

good theme to get them from :o

Yeah, Erics is easy and simple and gets the job done right quickly. just wish I could get the apple menu. Anyone want to take this and make it compatible with 1.03 and include the apple menu and submit it as a mod of his theme?

I have a working Apple menu as you can see from all my desk screenies - works with 1.0.3, Tabextensions 1.14 and the Safarifox themes from Spiral.

I don't think it works with Eric Chu's mod though - that destroyed my Firefox and I had to reinstall :( Besides, I like my Firefox to match my WB theme - no per application settings for me ;)

If you want to see the screenies, just click on my signature :)

Thanks zatoichi for that theme, it fixed the problem with the spaces between the buttons and the search bar is now rounded.

The address bar is still square but it does have that blueish highlight when its selected, is there anyway to make it round in addition to that?

And another thing that I am having a problem with is this

firefox_bookmarks.jpg

Any fix for that?

Sorry for being a pain in the behind :D

It's the size of the font you are using.

Does anybody know how to make firefox use the scrollbars from the VS I'm using instead of the aqua scrollbars from the theme?

karma.police copy the "scrollbars.css" from the default theme firefox/chrome/classic.jar to the theme. (its found in global)

vitality userchrome.css or just use your visualstyle to change the font. i told you brushed theme is the best to get the round url bars from. it has 3 different types.
