Cannot Figure Out Basics Of Icon Setup

I am running Windows 2000 and Objectdock is stable and looks great. The one thing I am having problems with is getting the icons to look and link correctly.

For instance, I have a sweet png of a Mozilla icon, so I drag it onto the dock....It shows up and looks great. Then, when I go in on the dock to the icon proprties and try to link it to the actual mozilla.exe it switches the icon to the mozilla.exe icon which is jaggy and looks like crap in the dock...

Can anyone point be to a basic primer to setting up your Obectdock icons or can anyone write a quick summary on here?

Thanks!

Your doing it the wrong way around my groove selector,

1. Run Object Dock

2. open a program, i.e. mozilla.

3. Then right click the sh-itty mozilla icon and replace it with your suave version that you copied into a directory within your OD directory.

Aint it great...

I see what you are saying but when I click on the "change image" button all I have access to are the icons that are in theme packages. I don't see any of the PNG or ICN files that are in the OD directory.

It's been a while since I have used Objectdock but perhaps all your PNGs or ICO should be placed in an icon folder that is near the Objectdock application, that is how it is with the other Aqua-like docks. Open the properties on any icon in the Dock and see what is the name of that folder that contains those default icons, then place the PNGs or ICOs there . I could be wrong but try that.

OD will let you select any png that is in a sub directory of the OD directory, my young Jedi.
