I bought an iPod photo and a dock, but the dock didn't come with any cables or anything... Isn't it supposed to come with a line out to hook it up to a TV? On the support site, it says:
" iPod photo Dock has a Line Out port which can be used to view photos on your TV using the included AV Cable."

doesn't the ipod photo come with the av out cable? i beleive you can plug it into the dock.
EDIT: i'm also 99% positive the dock at least has a standard svideo-out port so if you have an svideo cable i bet you can use that.
They might have scrapped it when they updated the and lowered the prices of the new ipod photos, if you look at the link of that article, its somewhat outdated, so maybe to reduce the price they removed the cable.

Weird.. I definitely agree that it was removed with the lowered price/size update, but I definitely don't think they should have. The only cable I can find for sale is the over-priced monster crap. I just want an S-video cable with audio compatible with the iPod photo dock.
iPod photo use to come with Dock, Cable and stuff. Apple removed this accesories to reduce the price of the package while launching the new lower priced 2G iPod photo.
Besides if style is not only issue for you (like the matching colored Monster cables), you can get S-video cable for cheap from any electronic stores.... in fact, you can get it made from some electronic guys whatever length you want (it's said that usually the cable should not be more than 12ft long, since it weakens the signal).
