the one u have on your site now is just as good as the third image...i voted for the third. (altho since u have already made all 3 skins, i would release them all and let people decide, just like u did with the VS)

I can understand that people would want image number 3 to match the rest of the items on the desktop but to me the new flat look of the buttons looks very, very bad. Did I mention very , very, bad. UGLY ! This new flat look of Apple for buttons is UGLY. I am 100% unanimous in this decision. I may consider kissing my Luna theme.

I still like Red LEDs rather than Grey LCDs on calculators or watches. Disco, Disco, Duck --- It's Craaaazzzzzy maaan

Thanks a lot you guys for the replies. Now I have a better idea regarding those buttons.

I will use the Image3 buttons, and maybe in the future I make another one using the Image 2 buttons for those of you that doesn't like the flat buttons. I hope to have finished the theme at the weekend.

Hey I like the new buttons and see them as a natural evolution of the aqua interface. The Aqua interface can't stay the same forever, it has to change as time goes by. This is also how you can tell the diference between the builds of OS X. I even like the counter sunk buttons in the smooth stripe themes so much that I graphed them into Maggbi & Duckies OS X 10.2 theme for WindowBlinds 4. It looks great this way. I may post a screenshot of what it looks like. I for one can't wait for Icemans new Eurocalc theme.

P.S.

Even the old Platinum theme in Mac OS 8.0 - 9.2.2 gradualy evolved over time. Apple is never happy,they always tweak, tweak, and then tweak some more. Everyone is just going to have to live with it.
