[help] Virtual PC: windows xp or windows 2000?

Hi!!

I'm about to install virtual PC on my mac but I'm not sure whether I should install windows 2000 or windows xp. I've been said windows 2000 would give much better performance...

What do you guys think? Could you give me an advise?

By the way, I have a Powerbook G4 with a 1.67 Ghz and 512 Ram.

Windows 2000 *does* give much beter performance. Go with that.

i would use windows 98 though. you can get the same performance as 2000 with xp if you made a TON of optimizations.

2000 definately. The OS is almost the same, the only real difference being visual styles and gaming support. Neither of which you'll need if you're running it through virtual PC

So I finally installed Virtual PC with Windows 2000 and it works great. i am really impressed by how fast it turns ,you almost don't notice that it's a virtual machine!!
