splitting a dmg across multiple disks

I have a layout for a client that, when zipped up, is about 1gig...I don't have a dvd burner so need to spread this over 2 discs....is there a way to do this?

You could create a multipart rar, then put half of it on one disk the other half on the other, have the client drag both rar pieces to his HD then decompress usning unrarX or winrar.

Otherwise, have you tried looking into file maker pro?

ok....i think i found the option in stuffit to do segmented discs...I mean I know how to do this on the pc, just never had to do it before on the mac....thanks mu
