[help] installation question

When installing new releases of RK, can we just extract over the same directory, or do you suggest a clean sweep/clean install?

Is it so hard to erase all the files from instalation directory (except maybe itemlist.conf)?

I never stated nor implied that it was hard nor troublesome to do a clean install.

What I simply wanted to know is if it would hurt to do an install over, or if a clean sweep/install is suggested.

You, belgrano, are implying a clean install I assume, however (less constructively) give no reason for doing so (versus an install over).

Always a clean install is the best...

but keeping the itemlist.conf would work as well...
