need help changing icon colors...

I have a set of icons, i did not make... but i only plan on using myself, not to release to the public.... they are pict resource files, that are only openable in iconographer from what i know (photoshop didnt work). i just want to replace one color (grey) with another color, a greenish color... each icon only has 2 colors... so it seems like it would be pretty easy... but i dont know how on a mac... any help?

The easy option is converting them to .png's with ave's icon app, editing them with photoshop, and changing them back to ico's.

Hope that helps.

You cannot change the color of .ico (icons) files, it's just impossible. You have to convert them to PNG and change their color, and then back to ico or whatever you want.

btw, once you have a PNG, in photoshop press Ctrl+U and play with the first two bars.
