[help] Any good CSS books?

Hi,

I want to delve into some web design. Problem is, I have no experience at all (but I can use WYSIWYG editors! ). I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good CSS/HTML books for beginners? Or anything really to help me get started.

Search on your local library's catalog for CSS. They usually have about 5-6 books, and none (perhaps one) are reference. Thank you, Ben Franklin! (at least if you live in the U.S).

This probably isn't a great book for beginners, but there's also CSS: A Pocket Reference, printed by O'Reilly. It's not really a cover-to-cover book, however.

Can I heartily recommend Dan Cederholm's Web Standards Solutions, and Eric Meyer's... Well, any of Eric's work (but Eric Meyer On CSS in particular).

These guys are two of the big names in the web design community, probably on a similar level to Mr. Zeldman...

There is a new book coming from Dan Cederholm soon, you might want to check that out too. Plus, for pure inspiration, get the Zen of CSS design by Dave Shea and Molly Heurzeieuouieoberg(?!).
