[Help] Changing icons in the start menu

Is there any way to change the size of the icons at the left side of the start menu , without changing the size of the My Computer Icon or the My Pictures etc,

Basically i want them to be small but not 16*16 small, to a customized size

I dont think there is a way to have them customized to a certain size, unless you right click on your start button->properties->customize->and switch to large or small, I am not even sure if you can use Resource Hacker to edit and customize any files to your liking. If I hear anything...I'l let you know.
