Iceman's Vs Feedback

hey iceman, great work and here's some feedback:

see how in the picture there are 2 brushed skins: 1 the iTunes4 for WMP (the QCD looks the same way) and your VS. see how the iTunes background looks better than yours?

so i thought if you could change the brushed background in the VS to a rip of these backgrounds (i always thought u used the same background and just stretched it for different needs), and issue that as an update version of your VS, then that would be just dandy

i would not be here had it not been for your VS! its awesome!

i disagree as well.. i think Iceman needs to hang the theme up in the hall of fame.. dont touch it at all.. im kinda dissapoointed in the itunes4 qcd skin's brushed to be honest.. i like the highlights, and brushed metal beter on itunes 3 for qcd.. but hey to each his own..

ivoytov: The brushed background used in my theme was the one used in the earlier versions of Apples's brushed apps.

I couldn't agree more...I found out about Iceman's fantastic Jaguar VS 2.01 theme from a colleague/Mod @ DT2 who knew that I was totally enamored with the whole Mac emulation concept...

Heck, I even joined Jon Mega's forum...LOL...Maybe Iceman you could help me out with this...I replaced all my WinXP SP1 System files with your 'tweaked ones'...Great job!!!

I have also installed the iTunes 9 (1-0) skin for my WMP 9...however even after replacing my WMplayer.exe with your file, and made sure that it was put into the c:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\ directory...everytime that I open my WMP 9 from Yz Dock, the skin that shows up is the default WMP9 skin and I have to change/apply the iTunes 9 skin...

Anything that I can do??? Your theme is a 'classic'!!!

i see your point....ive never used a mac in my life or saw the brushed skin, so i didnt know.

plus i really like the new itunes WAY better than the 3rd, so i was struck...maybe i can tweak your theme i'll post a ss in the may forum if i do!

Yoy may need the latest tweaked WMP 9. I've used that skin and look (and works) pretty cool. Please drop me a line to iceman@wstation.com and I'll be glad to send it to you.
