[help] Trying to convert this png to cursot

Hello,

I'm trying to convert this png ( )

to ico to use it as a cursor ( found that windows accepts ico's as cursors not only .cur ).. but it is'nt showing right, it shows like this when i use it

What can i do to let it show properly, i tried several programs to convert it but stays the same!

well, the png file has a little border around the hand. if you have photoshop just open it, and use the eraser and delete this border , after that convert to ico and it'll be fine.

thanks a lot for the fast reply , tried it works but i need some time to make it perfect but no problem, got any idea how to change the hotpoint of the cursor ( without any additional software ? )

Hm.. I see the shadow under ur cursor... Are u using CursorXP ? Or is there a way to make such shadow with windows only ?

Don't sweat it , just go to Wincustomize and download the cursor theme already made very similar to this one
