Aquasoft
Although it looks really nice, I have to disagree with the new look...
User CP, Members, Search etc are not nested items, so it would be better to be represented as individual buttons.
The nested button effect could be used on the second line, to show the path inside the forums (Aqua-Soft Boards > Main > General Discussions > Aquasoft)
![]()
Not too good, on the main page, we do not know what thread is the last person posted a reply. We need to get into the thread to know which sub-thread has the latest reply. ![]()

frames suck, and dont want to add a little java script cause it wont work right in some browsers... but we'll see
hmm.. Timan's right. Frames suck. However, this would be a really really useful feature if implemented..

which thread has the last post? only the last person's name appear.
previously, the name of the thread is the main guide for me to look into. <_<

click the arrow be amazed ![]()
I think I have to vote like others here, the older look was more functional and supplied more info as to what threads were updated or affected.
I would rather have the old look back.

Wow! I have just arrived from a little holiday and the new look surprised me! I like it quite, but I liked the link to incoming private messages (if any).

added private message text link best i can do till the new skin comes...
what I meant is, I need to know the name of the thread that was last replied to. since you now only provide the small arrow, I need to click every arrow to see the thread eventhough I don't have any interest in it.
I'll add a tooltip to show the thread name on mouse over...
Thanks a lot Timan
i also noticed that instead of going directly to the new posts, it does a search... which you can only do once every like 30 seconds or something... plus it takes a while... has that your search has been performed page, can you change this back to the old way?
and, there's no direct link to new posts from www.aqua-soft.org, would it be possible to put the top bar on that page too?
thanks

its the same exact link as the one on the main page.
I'll change the search rate to like 10
the link on the old version didn't used to do a search... and there was a link directly to new posts. now you have to go through community then click new posts
aaronsam
Fixed, thanks for that lol, forgot about that ![]()
Old - index.php?&act=Search&CODE=getactive
New - index.php?&act=Search&CODE=getnew
hmm does the same thing, jsut one seems to have the redirect page pretty much... I'll fix if its THAT BIG of a prob.
hey timan, are you going to make active buttons when mouse over the buttons on the menu bar?
nice work so far! keep it up.
Looking forward to see the brushed theme.
