[Request] KDE OS X skins

yes baghira is the best skin for kde, inside you will find a lot of configuration, after in kde panel set the top menu to osx, after add a new panel (tiny) on the top and add baghira menu

after add some shorcut with mac icon, add clok (plain whith ludicia font)

add an apple and chage the font.

for the dock, download ksdocker (best but full of bug) or kooldock/ksmootdock

chose the osx cursor, osx icon theme and some plugin (like konqueror to safari)

I am using KSmoothDock at the moment. My computer running Linux has not got an internet connection and it is getting frustrating transfering file via my 256mb USB Stick.

It would be nice if my stupid wireless adapter woudl WORK... It's times liek this I hate Netgear...

Anyway, I think I will learn some more programming and make some freeware for KDE... If I get good enough I might make a desktop enviroment very similar to OS X called Twang. But I don't think BASIC will let me make a desktop enviroment.

For now I will use KDE...

about ntfs, k/unbuntu and fedora dont suport ntfs, but all debian (exept ubuntu, i dont understand why) and mandrake distribution support ntfs, for dock use kxdoxker, he is 500% better than ksmoot or kool

Ummm... Correction. All linux supports ntfs. You just have to enable it to see it. Most are read only, but you can find a few packages that let you write. They are of course experimental. I use ubuntu.

Now that looks amazing!

I have learnt a bit more about linux now. I think I will have redhat with Gnome (as default) KDE, Fluxbox, xfce, and all the other uncommon ones. ( I would use Gnome and KDE the most)

I am going to learn Python and buy/borrow "Programming Linux for Dummies" and make myself some tweaking/customizing tools for linux.

BTW, would apt-get update upgrade the operating system/distobution?

upgrade in red hat alike is yum, just type yum --help for how to use it, and if you use kde install kyum, graphical interphase, there is also one for gnome but forgot the name, am always on kde

@wuzzie: you really wouldn't use ALL the arbitrary DE's + wm's there are, would you? stick with one, get to know it. eventually you'll be able to tweak it to your heart's desire.
