A question for Avedesk/tunes

Hi,

i use Avedesk 1.2 and Avetunes. I can change the Skins without problems, but i can't see the Cover in the skins.

iTunes runs correctly and with Konfabulator i can see the Cover, but dont with Avedesk?

OK, i can use Konfabulator in the future, but i LOVE the feature "Hide iTunes in Taskbar"

Has anyone a Idea? What do iam wrong?

I also need help with avetunes, only the skins that come with the package work, the other ones dont display song name, etc etc...what needs to be done?

As for the covers showing up... select a song(s) in iTunes and click this button:

and drag a cover there. You can get covers here (among other places): http://www.cduniverse.com/default.asp?cart...951&style=music

OR you could just drag the cover onto AveTunes itself.

Your image shows an internet radio stream - you can't assign an image to such a thing in iTunes (as the screen shot says) and hence it can't be shown on the desklet.

Maybe Andreas can add a default radio stream icon (a vintage tube radio or similar icon) for display...

The Cover Feature for Radio Stream is a Konfabulator only Feature and dosnt work with Avetunes, is that right?

Yes, and also, you can't add album art to ogg files (FYI)

you can`t even play ogg files in iTunes as far as i know :slant:

And the text may not be showing up with "other" skins because they may have fonts in the package you need to install first.
