[Help] With vBulletin Skinning

Hey everyone,

I have been modding Timan's Aqua-Soft.org skin and have come to this unfinished product:

It's a kindof "Finial Cut" Skin. I have done basically all I can with it. I dont know how to take away the white inner border, i dont know where to mod the text to white or offwhite so it is visible on the black gradients. Can anyone help me out with this?

Also, what icons would go good over the black gradients? Who would i have to get in touch with to get permission abotu that. Im kindof in the dark a little (no pun intended)
