oh DAMN! Thats awesome forreal....hopefully someone can do it
i wanna too.
I want it too
maybe anybody know the skin name ?
I think its called pushpin.
do you guys mean an IEView template?
it's possible but pretty hard with IE, I dont have free time to try it but I saw the adium code and the picture isnt rotated just one png over the avatar to create the effect.
Adium Code:
photo.png is the frame.
<div class="photo">
<img src="../../unavailable.html" width="80" height="90">
<div class="buddyicon">
<img src="../../unavailable.html" width="64" height="64">
</div>
</div>
well if someone can make this skin exact the same it's just a great toy ![]()
i looked at the code for this and it wouldn't be possible to get a 100% exact port (visually speaking) of this. the "cut-off" points for the "paper" after each message group and also the cut-off point on the header (both top of the header and bottom of the header) are not possible (at first glance) as they are displayed with the background css style which is capable of using top right to position the background. this is possible in the gecko engine as all those cut off points are using transparent png's.
in IE, though, a transparent png can only be presented using the AlphaImageLoader filter..which does not have any means of positioning the background. in fact, that filter (to load transparent PNGs) can only stretch the background. even repeating the background isn't possible..
so, resizing will be a very large issue with this template if it were to be done for ieview
Well, if you try, I'm sure your best will be fine. It's not like we're going to be checking for 100% accuracy!
Thanks for even thinking about it,
-NC
well, would it be alright if there were no "cut-off" points after each "piece of paper" (i'm talking about the sort of "cut piece of paper" design)?

the header will probably be the most innaccurate thing on the entire template if it were to be done...when i have more time (tonight maybe) i'll check it out...i'm pretty tight on time nowadays
well, if you can do that... i'm very glad. As nightcrawker said: It's not like we're going to be checking for 100% accuracy! He is right... if you do your best, i think it will be a amazing ieview skin ![]()
Edit:
omg ![]()
That skin is do awesome!!! o_O i didn't know it was so good!
Keep up the good work ![]()
Wow! Thats just amazing, great job!
i haven't made it yet....thats the preview image from the adiumxtras site. i was only using it to point out how the header (displayed in the picture) will not look like that
..i will not have time to work on this tonight
Miranda can go fully transparent can it? then all you have to do is shift the avatars, not that hard ![]()
Teach him how mubach!
Teach him how mubach!
I have no time for you pc mofos ;D i am sure pe8er could do it and NC has enough CSS skills to make it work, people dont do it beacuse theyre lazy.

huh? are you talking about the avatar with the diagonal kind of look? i'm perfectly fine with that...that can be done...very easily, too
i was talking about other parts...look at the image:

those are the "cut-off" points i'm talking about..those could not possibly be done (otherwise, incredibly difficult) the way they are supposed to work..on resize, they are supposed to display more of the image (as it is one really long image stated as background), so it will reveal more as resized more. but as i mentioned earlier, the AlphaImageLoader only stretches images.
wait for IE 7 ![]()
no just go on ![]()
I think you can do it!
bah, even as is it looks excellent!
