OK, i've created a sort of console in flash, which allows you to enter text and then upload this text using a bit of php to a .txt file on the server. Now i know how to access this text again using another flash program, but that isn't what i want to do. What i want to do is import this text into a frame or table on a standard HTML page, not flash, so that i can update the site form this console that i have made. That way i can use basic text in the flash program, but use CSS styles on the page to give the appearance i want.
Plese let me know if you dont understand.
Here is a link to the console. Only the "Publish" section is implemented on this one. At the bottom of the Publish section there are 2 unmakred buttons, as i have not finished this yet. The one on the left appends what you have typed in the input box into the text file, the other replaces all other content with what you have written in the text file(or maybe the other way round i can't remember). Password is 07813213213.(no that isn't my phone number)
Even if you have no clue what i'm tlking about, take a look at the console and tell me what u think of it.
Once i finish this, complete with options to change the password etc. etc. I may release it. It can be set up to run as an exe from any computer so that you can remotely update the content of your website via the php. Simple but effective, and very easy to install, u just have to copy the correct files.
If you want to see what i meant by being able to load what you have written into another flash program, that output prgram can be seen here.
