multi plugin lets you use media keys (top of the keyboard) when itunes is minimized, but that's the ONLY feature i want
meaning: i dont wanna use multi plugin because it causes problems for me, i just want that one feature
is there a way to make that happen or does someone have to make a plugin?

I think uncheck all the features (other than Fix Media Keys, Hide Menu and Suppress Warning Message) will solve the crashing issue.
Anyway, this works for me.

Could you not use the shortcut exes mapped to the different media button on your keyboard using your manufactuerers customisation software. If your manufacturer is crap intellitype works great with the majority of keyboards out there and will allow you to assign shortcuts to specific media keys. You get full control without using multiplugin.
well that would be a bit ridiculous seeing as the media keys work fine on every other software
