[help] AIM Minimizing to tray with ObjectBar

Hello This is my first post here. Its a shame for it to be a question but I will ask and hope you people are nice enough to answer.

I spent all night setting up my windows to mac. Im using the following to do it

-Stlye XP

-ObjectBar

-Object Dock

and a few other little programs that don't make a differnce.

I have a problem, When i minmize aim or any other program that minmize's to the task bar (right of task bar, the little icons) It doesn't work. This is because my taskbar is replaced with object bar. But i would think they should mimimize to object dock? I don't know im really confused I don't know what to do. This totally ruins my setup. (BTW: all my apps mimize to object dock, the windows that would minmize to the middle part of the windows taskbar)

BTW Im using MILK skin for my objectbar.

From what I can gather you want to send some programs like AIM to the system tray, (the little icons to the right of the screen) correct? If that is the case, look at some of CRNI's (search the forums) Object bars which have a working sys tray. Also Object Dock Plus has tabbed docks. One of them is labeled tray and you will find all of you sys tray icons there. They will NOT show up in the regular Dock. I think a saw a Docklet a while back that would display sys tray icons. Try searching the forums here or over at Wincustomize. Hope this helps.

In my experience with ObjectBar, I have never quite managed to get the systray support working with it.

However, with Stardock Right Click, I have both Taskbar and Systray support out of the box. Give it a shot if most of your customizing apps are from the Stardock stable
