[help] Changing Fonts In Objectbar

 If anyone here has the know-how as to changing the Fonts in Objectbar... I'd greatly appreciate the help. I can't imagine it's anything too hard, but, in terms of skinning, I'm a complete ****.

A short tutorial would be immensly helpful if you have the time! :)

Thanks

skinstudio is free and extremely easy and pretty intuitive to use.

just open it up and you will easily be able to change the font.

just open the file in the skins folder in notepad

OK. Here goes !

1. First make sure that the font you intend to use has already been installed on your system. If it isn't, obtain it and install it. Installing a font is as simple as dragging and dropping to your "C:WindowsFonts" folder.

2. Navigate to the folder where your Objectbar theme has been installed. For me it is usually "C:Program FilesObject DesktopObjectBarxxxxSkins".

3. You should see a file labelled *.obskin. Open this file with Notepad or any plain text editor.

4. Launch the Search and Replace dialog - Ctrl + H

5. In the "Find" box, type the name of the font which is already defined eg. "Arial". In the "Replace With" box, type the name of the font you wish to use eg. "HandelGotD"

6. Choose "Replace All".

7. Now navigate to the menus folder which is typically "C:Program FilesObject DesktopObjectBarxxxxSkinsMenus".

8. Open the file xxxx_Menu.obskin in Notepad as earlier.

9. Launch the Search and Replace dialog - Ctrl + H

10. In the "Find" box, type the name of the font which is already defined eg. "OBArial". In the "Replace With" box, type the name of the font you wish to use eg. "OBHandel"

11. Choose "Replace All".

You may wish to repeat this process for other colour variations, if there are any.

Easy, huh ? Takes all of five minutes ;)

I'm using CRNI's OB skins.

They are supposed to be the most exact 1-on-1 OS X replica's around.

But since I got to use the real thing through PearPC I noticed that on the real OS X only Finder (the active app's title) is in Bold while File, Edit, View, Go, Window & Help are not.

Any way to mimic this through the Objectbar skins?
