Well Version 2.0 is the best album, but if you have heard the last one (BeautifulGarbage)....its a huge improvement!

What do you mean before lol...its no longer there? Yeah Cherry Lips (go baby go) is a great song, it really shows their diversity! Cherry Lips (go baby go) is unlike any other song they have ever done (they have 80 in total).

Yeah I have had it for about a month as well (downloaded). I really like this album though because it sounds live and it just shows how LOUD they can be. I just love the guitars in this album and Shirley's voice sounds better than ever.
By the way, I purchased the album today (as it was released in the US today). I was so excited when I found it on the shelves....like a fat kid at an all you can eat buffet! 
I'm a huge Garbage fan, but this album disappointed me a little... There's some good stuff like the title track and Bad Boyfriend - yeah, Shirley still can write great songs with killer hooks. But concept-wise it's a step back, with all electronic elements subdued and the good stuff sounding pretty much like it could have been on their Debut album 10 years ago as well. I embraced the new styles Garbage explored with their third album and wish they'd have gone more into that now...
On a more positive note, the new QOTSA album Lullabies to Paralyze is THE definite shiznit!!

It is seldom that I ever find anyone that thought that their third album was great, I am glad to hear that! I can also see how you say that they have taken a step back because this album doesn't really have their classic electronic sounds. But that was their main focus on this album...they wanted it to sound live and wanted to it to be about the guitars. I have said a million times (and I know I just keep repeating myself in this post) but I can't get enough of the album...I just want to tell everyone about it!
And I am sooo sooo glad that they made a fourth album because the band actually called it quits for 4 months and went their separate ways.
