[help] Desktop icon font
as far as i know, there's no way to do it in xp by default.
xp should automatically change the color between white and black depending on the background. you can get transparent backgrounds by going to system properties > advanced > performance settings > use drop shadows...
if you want to change the font color, you need to use another app like iconoid or transtext: http://www.realityrift.com/applications/transtext/
Or AveDesk of course!
Or AveDesk of course!
For the usual shortcuts I use AveDesk. ![]()
It's about some files that I "store" on the desktop until I find a better place for them. I use a white background and I would like to see the names of those "passing" files.
As for drop shadow option, it's activated.
Anyway thanks for your answers!
you can use TClock2

Well I was looking for something like tweaking the registry rather than an external app. The menu of that little app doesn't seem to work thou.
if you're looking for a reg tweak you can try virtualplastic.net. they might have something over there.

as far as i know, there's no way without an external app. but transtext is small (like 32k), so that'll do it.
