Aqua-Soft Forumsi didnt get it to change word or excel program icon or filetype icons.. (word and excel are only msoffice apps i have installed)

It's a program setting. Visual Styles can NOT put the min/max/close on the left. WindowBlinds skins can. If you want them on the left, use WindowBlinds.

Flyakite, you truly are the best... but does anyone else using Steve Grenier's Tiger WB theme have really thick buttons now? Font change? Was Lucida Grande replaced? If so what font does the WB theme use and does Flyakite OSX2 backup any fonts?

No the previous version does not need to be uninstalled.
As for the font, FlyakiteOSX now uses the same Lucida Grande versions that come from Steve's skin. Try reapplying his skin in Windowblinds and see if that fixes it.

Just curious, I don´t have the shell32 location memory problem, but is there any noticeable memory gain installing the SE version? (not using 48+ icon size anyway)
Possibly. I honestly couldn't give ou any real world results, but as an example, the normal version has a shell32.dll size of about 26mb, the SE version ends up with a shell32.dll size of about 8.5mb. So yeah the SE version has a much smaller file to load into memory and much smaller icons to load into the cache. Whether or not you'll actually "notice" a performance gain if using the SE version I can't say. However if you don't use icons larger than 48px, might as well install the special version, as that's all that is different in it.

:cool:OK, I think I fcuked up my installation...
First off, I did not uninstall FlyakiteOSX 1.0, then as I installed 2.0, the installer aborted halfway with error because my temp directory was full. And then for some reason I ran the updater from 1.0 and changed some files back to 1.0.
Now I have a system with 1.0 and partial 2.0 but no uninstaller to restore the changed files. So far everything still works, but what would be the best way to proceed without making my system a total mess? Should I use the restore point created at the beginning of the 2.0 installation?

Your best bet would be to clear out your temp directory and install v2.0 over everything. You will get the uninstaller back and everything else.
