The quest for perfect Aqua Transformation Bliss

I'm on a quest to find the best, most effective, efficient, and hassel free way to make windows look like OSX. I know I know...I know what everyone says..you can just scour the net and check for stuff..but this takes a lot of time and extra rebooting, and downloading only to find out you don't like what done, then you have to undo etc...

I'm just trying to figure out a few things.

1. What's the best dock to use....I currently use Y'z, but I've seen peole use Moby, OD, and RKLauncher....what do you guys think the best is so far?

2. What's the best msstyle(a released one) to use? I make sure to specify released because I've seen some great ones, but the people showing them off say it's unreleased etc...which is still something I don't get. Why go through all the trouble of making a great work, and then just keep it...not sharing with the community that makes all this stuff thrive? Makes no sense to me...I guess for their own personal enjoyment...but wheres the fun or community feel in that?

3. What do you guys think the best ObjectBar theme is..Again, a RELEASED one.

I'm just curious about peoples opinions on how good a sleek you can get your windows desktop looking...and how closely you can get it to look authentic with these apps and what's the best way to go about it...

Please post constructive stuff only, no flaming. Have fun with this one. Screenshots are most definately welcome...try to only post an ss if you list links to the stuff used in it though.

1. I vote objectdock because it doens't take many resources yet has a lot of features. If 1:1 dock emulation is what you want though, RKLauncher is your best bet.

2. Kol's Tiger theme definately gets my vote, I haven't found a single bug with it since I've been using it (maybe a year now) but it still looks great and the WB version (dunno about the MSStyle) has very smooth non-aliased borders.

3. Rappo's updated tiger theme

just install object dock and FlyakiteOSX, then you're sorted. If you have windowblinds, even better. Then Maybe you might want to try AveDesk for widgets, and Looca, or any other finder apps that are out there to emulate it.

Here you go:

Looca

ObjectDock + Windowblinds

Flyakite

AveDesk

Here for ObjectBar themes (CRNI)

Version 2 of FlyakiteOSX is going to be released soon. It will even include dock software, so all you will need is this one amazing app and you're all set!!! :D

They are most certainly NOT welcome. Don't start another screenshot thread.

And the answer to 1-3 is all personal preference. #1 depends if you want speed (Yz), 1:1ness (RK), or reliability/constant updates (OD).

#2 depends what kind of theme you want. No matter how good Kol's Tiger theme looks, what if you like Milk better?

Same for #3. In fact, that depends more on #2. crni's themes are always a good bet though.

ehm i suggest to use WB (u said the best, most effective) to have the buttoms on the other side.

and with the per application option you can change the skin for the explorer to a brushed one, download styler and use it in toolbar mode, download Finderbar by kabal, and then you have a perfect finder, no buggy clones needed.

FlyAKyte OSX to change most of the ugly things from Windows.

Dock im using RKl (i tryed OB but i didnt like it, i used aqua dock like yz dock, then i changed).

Sry, i dont use OB, i just use an addon for windows taskbar by landvermesser (search in forums)
