I've got an unsual problem the alpha belnded shadows on these cursors aren't working anymore, they were like 10 minutes but when I changed VS they stopped. I tried changing back VS etc... but the aplha blending is screwed.
Edit: Onlu effects when you want to drag folders/files.

Did you try changing the cursor images?
Check if your color setting is at 32bpp and if you're not displaying your desktop as webpage

Yup, it just happens. Flyakite discovered this bug a while ago - it appears in some systems, in some it doesn't. I'm afraid that you have to live with this 
it may be to with the fact that i updated my video card drivers but given that it was working after i installed them still leaves me baffleled.
i get the same exact problem when i have Dual Monitors set up, and one of the monitors is set to below 32bit.
