[Preview] iPod for AveTunes

iPod for AveTunes

After I finished AvePod for AveTunes.... I thought of making an actual iPod skin for AveTunes.

So here is the preview. I'm pretty new to AveTunes skin formats so it's gonna take some time...

It's not finished yet... I still have to put Album art, progress bar knob and other stuff and so on.....

Now the thing is.. for readability of fonts, properly viewable album art and so... I had to use pretty big base picture of iPod... which is like almost 250 by 350 pixels... and covers big block on desktop. So it's not pretty minimalistic, which take out it's practicality on usage. The last usable size I could scale it down to 200 by 280 pixels... still big, eh?

So I wanna know if anyone is really interested in putting and using such a big baby on their desktop???

looks great! my only request is that you have a way to turn off/exit itunes from the skin, since i only use avetunes skins that have that option now, since its such a pain in the ass to have to wait 15 seconds for that message to popup and close on itunes with an avetunes skin loaded. thanks, and looks great!

lol.... well, I didn't think about it... besides I'll have to create 4 different colors (which actually means 4 skins with different base graphic).... But it's a cool idea... I would surely think about it.

Hmmmm.... Well I did think about that, but somehow I couldn't digest the idea.... anyways, I might give a try at that... but if I don't feel happy about it. I won't release it... :cool:

Keep the idea of shadow, just mod it. Make it softer and change it's shape to be the equivalent of iPod shape. Take a look at iPod and mac mini ads, check shadows there. Big pics here: http://www.apple.com/pr/products/

Yes, Pe8er... I am using apple addverts for ref in graphics... and that's exactly the shadow I am doing right now...

I just came on AS this morning just to look for something like this...and i found it.

It looks rather sweet man!! Anyways the bigger the better, cos if thats the full size in your pic, then its a good size for me.

Cant wait till its done...

EDIT:
