Menu For Any Dock!

Here is a ss from my dtop.

On the pic u can see two menu panels. Both of THE PANELS HAVE submenus,

and endless possibilities.

It isnt a big trick cause I used OB.

Currently I have a problem!

I was unble to create a down arrow for the first upcaming panel.

I tried to create a full transparent panel bgrnd and draw the arrow with

two bitmaps/tga/, but still nothing. We should draw the shadows too

cause WFX is not able to handle complex shapes but rectangles.

So if someone can make me a panel for OB with the down arrow and

surronding shadows Id be very greatful! And Id be able to finish LEOPARD

hey maximus, grea bar. When you gonna release i? I ain' sure ha you can make a down arrow. You'd have o creae a sepree image and rollover for every ime you wan down arrow. I knew his menu's gonna be great.

don't you mean Panther Maxus? I noticed a while ago i think it was either duckie or goku orr someone else that posted a pic of OS Panther with the purple highlight instead of blue. Is LEOPARD intentional or is the name a mistake?

That's maximus-gratus's screenshot... It looks like you're pretty much done. You keep making different skins for yourself. Could you please share some of your work??? At least tell us what program you are skinning it for...

I completely agree.

Maximus, this is actually becoming somewhat irritating. The quote above is EXACTLY whats happening, and it isnt the first time it happens. Its practically ever since you first joined our community and im not being a spoiled brat who cant wait for answers. Yes, you did have moments of help and i truly appreciate it, however nobody ever managed to figure it out - yet you kept showing off screenshots knowing nobody can achieve what you have. On top of everything, you DO seem to know how to ask for help when you need it.

You may be oblivious to these facts or not I do not know, so i'm going to ask you nicely to stop posting SS, without replying back to people of how you accomplished certain things for your desktop. Its pissing people off and i'm completely with them on that.

And please, if you made something which takes 3 weeks to make (a theme, script, skin or whateva) for certain applications (for

I appologize if i sound harsh, but I hope this can clear out some of the things that has been going on here lately Max.

Thanks to the rantings and general crap from some disrespectful jerks in our forums, we have lost yet ANOTHER developer.

Thanks to those of you who:

1. Demand developers send you their app/skin/stuff thru email or other means, when there is an ftp for that, but your too lazy to even try it.

2. Make rude comments to developers when they don't send you their stuff.

3. Make rude comments in forums about developers when you've never even met them.

4. Constantly PM, IM, and email asking where something is, how to get it, and when it will be released rather than shutting up, calming down...and WAITING like the rest of us.

5. Didn't help a developer when they needed it.

6. Didn't give logical responses to bug reports.

7. Didn't respect the developers right to privacy.

8. Chose personal attacks and rivalry's where NONE belongs.

9. and much MUCH more. (I'll add more as I remember it)

Cassiel was a great contributor, but after his sad treatment here, and on other sites, he is leaving FOR GOOD. He has asked us to remove ALL his files

Namie wasnt really acting in the gimme gimme attitude. HE should appologize for his snapping, however you should knock off the teasy teasy as well.

Now that you said what application it is to certain people who didnt follow up, would you be kind enough to explain how to do that? or should i expect another screenshot telling me it was made by using objectbar (need i to repeat myself and sound like prick, you've already mention you used OBJECTBAR in your first post).

Officialy im asking: Please explain HOW to make those menus.

All im asking next time is that if you're working on a theme, post in theme forum, or "uncompleted themes" forum, so people will KNOW you're working on something for the commnunity. WTH do you expect from people to do when you post a screenshot in a screenshots forum? Everybody will leech your ass.

Yes, we know your english is poor so it's hard to explain right? (though it's strange how you know how to ask what you want clearly when you need help) So share what you have so far and we can at least get some kind of idea.

You should of just told us in the first place it isn't fully functional yet because all you do is post screenshots which looks complete and you've said in the old posts...

So what exactly doesn't work 50-80% all of a sudden? You should explain to us more specifically then just saying it doesn't work because the screenshots look fine to us. (each submenu seems to all show up...good enough for me)

Don't assume we will insult your work just because you do to others. Maybe if you actually give us what you have so far then it'll make it easier for us to see what's actually wrong and help since your english is so poor.

And I apologize if I sound demanding but somebody's gotta ask... we're all curious and we need some reasonable answers.

Namie, seriously stop it. this isn't exactly the way you gain respect in a community like this. Maximus doesn't want to release the menu and in my opinion i wouldn't either. If i handed the uncompleted version of a project like this to people, i know that people like you would pressure me more then before. It makes sense why he didn't hand the beta out. Just wait for him to release it. I'm sure maxus will release it when he thinks it ready not when you think so.

And another thing, do you know why he hasn't completed it? Because he needs a couple more scripts. Maximus has posted at least 2-3 topics regarding the things he needs and have you helped him? I didn't think so. Don't you think its a little rude trying to make him make your aqua expierence on your pc better when you aren't helping him? I think you should look to both sides of the story before making any more remarks. You aren't gonna make him release it sooner anyway so its pointless to type posts against him, unless thats the only thing you care about. Getting your post count higher. If you help him with the things he needs instead of blaming him for not releasing his app maybe then he'll release it sooner. If you don't it'll be the other way around. Please don't cloag up more forums that have nothing to do with what you are saying. Start a new topic instead.

Please don't attack other members of aqua-soft community. I don't want good quality developers to leave. Please think about something before you type it, and no one reply to this post. If you are going to post in this topic let it be something constructive for maximus that he can use.

You're absolutly right, and one of our main goals is to attract talented developers into our community like maximus. Keep in mind, that this is the only case i actually 'hear' the user more than the developer, and it turns out to be a big misunderstanding.

The OB theme is ready for 1152*864 resolution only. Currently looking for some help with the weather issue.
